The South American continent is a
very interesting place. It has a population of 385,742,554 which is only the
5th most populated continent in the world. One country in South America that I
found interesting was Chile: 80% mountains, 100% fantastic! Even though Chile
is a very mountainous country it is still highly populated -- 16,136,000 people. Chile extends like a
ribbon down the west coast of South America for over 4,000 kilometers—but
averages only 150 kilometers wide. The most commonly spoken language in Chile
is Spanish. These are some statistics about Chile.
