Interview of Mr. Henry

Czar C. : Have you had any prior experience with drama that has helped you to be a better teacher?

Mr. Henry: Absolutely. Yes.

Czar : Do you feel drama comes by instinct or by learning?

Mr. Henry: I feel in most students drama comes by instinct but even the best actor needs to be able to hone in to those skills even I need to practice.

Czar :  Are there certain traits you feel come in many good drama students?

Mr. Henry: Someone who is confident someone who is self motivated and has focus and the ability to respond one major trait would be the ability to think outside the box because it comes up much of the time in acting.

Czar : Are there any theater skills that don’t come by instinct?

Mr. Henry: Yes, much of the technical process such as stag areas or analyzing a script doesn’t usually come naturally.

Czar : Do you feel teaching drama makes you better at acting?

Mr. Henry: Yes, in fact sometimes I get my students to teach other to make them better.
