Procrastination- Get your work done when it needs to be done

     You come home, sit down at your desk and start on your homework. You do a few problems and then you get this idea that you’ll just put away. For the rest of the night you’re on your computer on Facebook, Youtube, etc.

     This is call procrastination (Pro-cross-tin-a-tion). The definition of procrastination is putting off or delaying, especially something requiring immediate attention. For example, homework, or other things of that nature.

      Here are some ways to beat that ever so appealing form of procrastination: 1.) Go onto the parental controls area on your computer and block websites like Facebook, Myspace, Tumblr, Youtube, etc. for however long you think it’ll take you to do the homework assignment or whatever else you have to do. When you’re done with your assignment you can go back into the Parental Controls and unblock the websites. 2.) On your phones calendar, put in your assignment and have it set off an alarm when you have to do. Have it go off repeatedly so that eventually you won’t be able to say “Oh, I forgot”. These alarms will annoy you into doing your work.

      Try to find ways that’ll keep your from procrastinating that’ll work for you. Look for articles and maybe even some videos online.
